Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., is tied with her Democratic rival, Whitney Fox, according to a recent poll.

A recent St. Pete Poll showed Fox and Luna tied at 45.9%, with 8.2% voters undecided.

Luna represents the state's 13th Congressional District, which includes Pinellas County, Clearwater and Palm Harbor. The district has moved from "lean Republican" to "tilt Republican", according to Florida Politics.

Independents in Florida support Fox 48% to 41%. The seat was previously held by Democrat Charlie Crist, a former Florida governor.

Luna, who is seeking a second term, has pointed to other polls suggesting she will win re-election next month.

".@FiveThirtyEight is now forecasting another win for me despite two fake polls that have been released in an effort to suppress voter turnout," she wrote on the social media platform, X.

Luna's campaign manager told a local outlet that Luna was projected to lose in 2022, but pulled through and won.
