Democrats favored to win midterms in 2026 despite record low approval: Poll
The survey found that 41% have a favorable view of the Democratic Party while 44% have an favorable view of the GOP
The Democrats are favored to win the midterm elections in 2026 despite a record low approval rating, according to a new Fox News poll out on Friday.
The survey found that 41% have a favorable view of the Democratic Party while 56% have an unfavorable view, compared to 44%-54% for the Republican Party.
Last summer, a Fox News survey showed that voters viewed Republicans negatively by 14 points and viewed the Democrats negatively by 6 points.
However, most voters would support a Democrat over a Republican candidate in their district, 49%-42%, if the midterm elections were today.
