Russia says Ukrainian forces have left Kursk region

The announcement comes after Zelenskyy met Trump in Rome on Saturday

Russia announced on Saturday that all Ukrainian troops have left the Kursk region.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov made the announcement on Saturday after Ukraine President Zelenskyy met President Trump in Rome on Saturday.

Ukrainian officials have not publicly commented on the matter.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine's incursion had “completely failed," according to the Associated Press.
