Most voters say U.S. should continue support for Israel, stop funding Ukraine war: Poll

Most voters think the U.S. should continue supporting Israel and stop funding Ukraine in their war against Russia, according to the results of a new poll.

The Napolitan News Service survey, which included 1,000 registered voters, was conducted October 21-22.

According to the polling data, 42% of voters said that the U.S. "should be supporting Israel, rather than the Palestinian groups" in the ongoing war in Gaza, compared to just 13% that said the opposite. 

"By a 47% to 9% margin, voters believe Donald Trump supports Israel over the Palestinian groups," read a summary of the poll's results. "Voters believe the same of Kamala Harris, but by a much more narrow 31% to 21%."

Also, 46% of voters understand the meaning of the term "genocide," which often invoked by anti-Israel protesors. 

According to the polling data, 80% said they know the meaning the term but only 57% were able to provide an accurate definition.

Most respondents, 42%, said that Congress should stop providing funding and weapons to Ukraine for its war against Russia compared to 39% who said the funding should continue.
