Actor Val Kilmer, who played Iceman in “Top Gun,” and Bruce Wayne in “Batman Forever," died Tuesday night at age 65.

Kilmer's daughter, Mercedes, told The Associated Press that her father died of pneumonia in Los Angeles and was surrounded by family and friends.

He said that he lived "a magical life" before his passing, according to NBC News.

Besides being in the movies "Top Gun" and "Batman Forever," he also played Doc Holliday in the 1993 film “Tombstone.”

He began having some health issues in 2017 when he revealed he was recovering from throat cancer.

Kilmer is survived by his daughter and his son Jack, who he shares with ex-wife Joanne Whalley.
