Haley moves ahead of DeSantis in new Iowa poll as caucuses approach
Haley has been passing DeSantis for second place in other states such as New Hampshire.
A new poll released just four days before the Iowa caucuses shows Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis slipping into third place behind former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley.
The poll, conducted by Suffolk University, surveyed 500 Iowa voters that are likely to participate in the Jan. 15 Iowa caucuses. 54% said they would support former President Donald Trump, 20% said they would support Haley, and 13% threw their support behind DeSantis.
Former New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie only got 2% support in the poll, prior to his suspending his campaign on Wednesday. Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy had 6% support.

DeSantis predicted a victory in Iowa right before Christmas.
"We’re going to win Iowa. We’ve got the organization in place," he told Fox News Digital.
The survey had a margin of error of 4.4%.
