GOP Rep. Green asks Trump admin to review gun licenses that Biden DOJ 'unjustly' revoked
Tennessee Rep. Green said that multiple gun licenses were revoked with little or no due process.
GOP Rep. Mark Green is asking the Justice Department to review federal firearm licenses that were revoked during the previous Biden administration, some for what he calls just minor paperwork errors.
“Under the Biden ATF’s egregious ‘zero tolerance' policy, lawful firearms dealers lost their [federal firearms licenses] for minor paperwork errors," Green told Just the News on Monday. "The Biden ATF’s predatory and arbitrary enforcement ruined the livelihoods of small business owners.
Green, of Tennessee, in his recent letter to the department regarding licenses being revoked, specifically cites Will Howard and Bobby James, owners of the gun gear-and-parts store Tactical Edge, and James Allen, the owner of Allen’s Gun Shop, both in his home state.
He said their minor paperwork errors at most warranted a warning.
"Now, I’m asking the Trump administration to quickly review these FFL revocations and give these businesses the fair shake that Biden denied them," he said.
Green also said that multiple gun licenses have been revoked with little or no due process.
“While I am grateful the Trump administration has ended this egregious and predatory enforcement, there are still hundreds of firearm dealers who had their [federal firearm licenses] unjustly revoked,” reads the letter, first obtained by the Daily Caller news outlet.
