Former New York Congressman Lee Zeldin says Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg took a “creative leap” to fulfill a campaign promise to take down former President Donald Trump. “We went the entire process from President Trump being charged to President Trump being convicted without knowing what the underlining offense was to elevate it from a misdemeanor to a felony to get over the statute of limitations,” he says. “So much was so wrong and it would not have been brought if he was anyone other than Donald Trump.”
