A CNN exit poll shows that Trump has an 11 point advantage with independent voters in the state of Georgia.

"Trump is winning them by 11 points in these early exit poll results," CNN political analyst David Chalian said, referencing Georgia independent voters. "Fifty-four percent to 30% ... four years ago, Joe Biden won independent voters in Georgia when he won the state by nine points."

Chalian said there's been a swing of 20 points towards Trump in terms of the margin.

CNN's Jake Tapper said that the swing was "significant."

Georgia's polls closed at 7 p.m. EST and as of press time, only a few states have been called for either GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump or Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
