CNN reports Harris campaign has gone silent and is 'searching for bright spots'
CNN Correspondent Abby Phillip said that the Harris team "appears to be searching for bright spots."
CNN reported late Tuesday night that Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris' campaign seems to have gone silent.
"Let me just give you a gut check here about what we are hearing here as we've been sitting here reporting from the Harris headquarters and I think the operative word right now is silence," CNN correspondent Abby Phillip said. "There's not a lot being said."
She added that the Harris team "appears to be searching for bright spots."
As of now, the swing states of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Georgia are too early to call, but GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is slightly leading in those states.
Phillip added that swing states like Georgia are really close and results will come in more slowly throughout the night.
"This is my 7th presidential election, I would observe that when campaigns go silent it's generally not a positive sign," CNN's Jake Tapper said.
