During a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray said an outside contractor created the litmus test memo the showed security reviewers asked an employee about his support for Donald Trump, his opinions about the COVID-19 vaccine, and his stance on the Second Amendment. Wray, admitting he had only recently learned about the memo, said the contractor who created it is no longer affiliated with the FBI.
