The Democratic Party’s favorability has dropped to a record low point dating back to 1992, according to a new CNN poll.

The party's favorability has dropped 20 points since January 2021 to 29%.

CNN reported that the Republican Party’s favorability rating currently stands at 36%.

The poll was conducted for CNN by SSRS from March 6-9, which was before Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and 10 Democratic senators voted to advance a GOP spending bill to prevent a government shutdown, resulting in harsh criticism from other Democratic members of the House and Senate.
