ICE arrests 956 illegals on Sunday alone

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Sunday arrested 956 illegal aliens and lodged 554 detainers as border czar Tom Homan moves swiftly to implement President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown.

The agency confirmed its Sunday figures after announcing operations in Chicago, Ill., and arresting 286 on Saturday. Friday saw the agency arrest 593 while Thursday witnessed 538 arrests.

Speaking to Real America's Voice, Homan applauded Trump's support for immigration enforcement and declared he would "concentrate on public safety threats, national security threats."

"We took a lot of bad guys off the streets today!" he said while in Chicago. "This city's a lot safer today."
