Masked thief stole Homeland Secretary Noem's handbag in DC restaurant
The bag was reportedly carrying Noem's work badge and $3,000 in cash.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's handbag, which carried her work badge and $3,000 in cash, was stolen Sunday night while she was eating dinner in Washington, D.C.
The Secret Service reviewed security footage that showed a man in a mask steal Noem's bag and leave the restaurant, according to CNN.
A spokesperson confirmed to Just the News that Noem's bag was stolen.
"Her entire family was in town, including her children and grandchildren — she was using the cash withdrawal to treat her family to dinner, activities, and Easter gifts," the spokesperson said.
