The families of the three freed Israeli hostages issued public statements Monday from a hospital in Tel Aviv.
“Today, Doron is home with us. Our Dorona is here. We are still processing, trying to cope,” the family of Doron Steinbracher said, according to The Jerusalem Post.
The family of Emily Damari thanked the Israeli Defense Forces who risked their lives during the war. The family of Romi Gonen thanked President Donald Trump and said his “courageous support of Israel and reinforcement of human good in the world helped drive and bring about this moment.”
