Japan was hit by a 6.6-magnitude earthquake, severely rattling the Kyushu island, according to Monday reports.

Shortly following the earthquake struck, tsunami warnings were issued for the Miyazaki prefecture by the Japanese Meteorological Agency, according to NBC News.
As of now it's not certain how much damage occurred.
The tsunami waves have already reached about 3.2 feet.
