Finland: Border traffic has intensified

The Finnish Border Guard’s Head of International Affairs, Matti Pitkaniitty, said in a tweet that 4,824 Russians arrived in Finland via the country’s eastern border on Wednesday. Pitkaniitty added that while that's a lower figure than an average weekend, that is a significantly high figure for a weekend. Finnish Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen said that Finland will continue to monitor the border situation in the upcoming days.
