Dominion v. Fox News defamation trial begins jury selection in Delaware court

Dominion Voting Systems’ landmark defamation lawsuit against Fox News is set to select a jury and begin opening statements in a Delaware court on Tuesday. Dominion, a private corporation that makes and provides election voting equipment to 28 states, argues Fox News defamed their company with claims their company rigged the 2020 election in favor of President Biden. Fox argues they were abiding by their press freedoms and asserts Dominion’s business was not damaged. Dominion is seeking $1.6 billion in damages.
