Carl Szabo: Davos' crackdown on AI is ‘driven by a fear of Donald Trump’
NetChoice Vice President and General Counsel Carl Szabo says Davos elites want to crack down on artificial intelligence because they are afraid it will put former President Donald Trump back in the White House. “It’s all about control. That’s why you’re seeing governments from across the world, including here in the United States of America, try to decide what can and can’t be done with this technology, who can and can’t innovate,” Szabo explains. “And if you step out of line the government will come in swiftly and shut you down, very un-American. And this is all driven by a fear of Donald Trump.”
