Brandon Arnold: Any economist can tell you price controls create food shortages

National Taxpayers Union Executive Vice President Brandon Arnold says Vice President Kamala Harris’ proposed price controls will reduce the availability of products and lead to food shortages. “I get that inflation is a huge problem. It’s the number one economic problem facing Americans right now. But the solution is just completely wrong here. Price controls don’t work, they’ve never worked, and they never will work,” he says.
