Pennsylvania Democratic incumbent Sen. Bob Casey on Thursday officially conceded in the tight Pennsylvania Senate race.

"Thank you for your trust in me for all these years, Pennsylvania. It has been the honor of my lifetime," Casey wrote on the social media platform, X.

Casey confirmed during a video on social media that he called his GOP rival Dave McCormick to concede.

He went on to thank his family, voters and the state of Pennsylvania.

"During my time in office, I have been guided by an inscription on the Finance Building in Harrisburg: 'All public service is a trust, given in faith and accepted in honor,'" Casey wrote.
