Americans believe worst is yet to come in coronavirus pandemic
This month has seen the most pessimistic assessment yet
Americans aren't just weary about the coronavirus pandemic, people are making long-term adjustments to work and life plans and are contemplating a restructuring of American society.
This month has seen the most pessimistic assessment yet, with the majority of voters believing that we have yet to experience the worst coronavirus has to offer, according to a Scott Rasmussen and Ballotpedia poll.
Currently, 64% of voters think the pandemic is going to get worse. This figure is up from earlier this month, when only 42% thought so. If we go by political party, 75% of Democrats, 65% of Independents, and 52% of Republicans all share the view that COVID-19 will get worse.
Scott Rasmussen dissects these numbers and the emotions of Americans in his latest Number of the Day podcast.
