Twitter flags another one of President Trump's tweets
A number of the president's tweets have been targeted by Twitter in recent weeks
Twitter on Tuesday flagged another one of President Trump's tweets, stating that the post broke the platform's rules regarding what it considers abusive behavior.
"We’ve placed a public interest notice on this Tweet for violating our policy against abusive behavior, specifically, the presence of a threat of harm against an identifiable group," reads a post from the Twitter Safety account.
The tweet in question was posted by the president Tuesday morning and now has a tag that reads: "This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about abusive behavior. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible."
Twitter users can click to view the tweet in which the president vows that he will not permit protesters to set up an autonomous zone in the nation's capital, and threatens that an attempt to create such a zone in Washington, D.C., "will be met with serious force!"
Last week, Twitter labeled a video shared by the president as "manipulated media."
The video featuring two children was apparently shared in jest and included a fake CNN breaking news lower-third that stated, "terrified toddler runs from racist baby" and "racist baby probably a Trump voter."
The video appears to have been removed and a message now explains, "This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner."
In May Twitter said that a Trump post "violated the Twitter Rules about glorifying violence." The company also in May labeled two of the president's tweets with a link that said, "Get the facts about mail-in ballots."
