Trump campaign to conduct temperature screenings at campaign rally in Tulsa

The Trump campaign vowed Monday to take several precautionary measures to protect attendees from the coronavirus at the president's June 20 rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, his first major campaign event in months.

Those measures include providing temperature screenings, masks and hand sanitizer to people prior to entry, Campaign Manager Brad Parscale said. 

Parscale said that more than 1 million people have requested event tickets.

Last week the rally signup form received media attention because people who requested tickets faced a warning/disclaimer that by attending such a public event they could potentially be exposed to coronavirus.

"By clicking register below, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present," the warning states. 

"By attending the Rally, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; BOK Center; ASM Global; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury," the signup form says.

The rally was originally slated for June 19 but later changed to June 20.
