White House communications team launches a rapid-response Twitter account
The account's purpose is to 'cut through the bias' of mainstream media coverage
The White House communications team launched a rapid-response Twitter account this morning in an effort to "cut through the bias and provide real-time updates on the historic accomplishments" of the president, according to the account's first tweet.
The account, @WHRapidResponse, will be manned by the team that is led by Kayleigh McEnany and Alyssa Farah.
Under McEnany's leadership, the White House press briefings have become tight, well-choreographed conferences, with prepared commentary that is frequently succinct and on message from the Secretary.
