Rep Tlaib shares video claiming Biden supports genocide of Palestinians, says Americans won't forget
Protesters are seen chanting in the video, "No peace on stolen land" and "End the blockade, break the siege."
Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., shared a video on social media that claims President Joe Biden supports genocide of the Palestinian people amid the Israel-Hamas war.
".@POTUS, the majority of the American people are not with you on this one. #CeasefireNow," Tlaib wrote on the social media platform X.
The video shows pro-Palestinian protests going on in different states including Michigan, New York, California and Ohio.
Protesters are seen chanting in the video, "No peace on stolen land" and "End the blockade, break the siege."
The video ends with Tlaib saying, "We will remember in 2024," and a statement that reads "Joe Biden supported the genocide of the Palestinian people."
Tlaib is the only Palestinian-American member of Congress and was one of the 18 House co-sponsors of a resolution that called for a truce in the war.
She also voted against the $14.3 billion in funding for Israel, arguing Americans "do not support the funding of war crimes."
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., introduced a resolution to censure Tlaib over some of her anti-Israel comments, but it was tabled earlier this week.
