Guilfoyle, Trump campaign fundraiser, girlfriend to Trump Jr., tests positive for coronavirus
Guilfoyle tested positive before the president's Mount Rushmore speech Friday night in South Dakota
Kimberly Guilfoyle, a top member of the 2020 Trump reelection campaign and girlfriend of President Trump’s eldest son, reportedly tested positive Friday for the coronavirus.
Guilfoyle tested positive before the president’s Friday night speech at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota and did not travel on Air Force One to attend the event, according to several news reports.
Sergio Gor, the chief of staff for the Trump Victory Finance Committee, said in a statement to The New York Times that Guilfoyle “was immediately isolated to limit any exposure.”
He also said she was asymptomatic at the time of the testing and will be retested. However, Guilfoyle will cancel all upcoming events as a precaution, Gor told the newspaper.
There are no reports that her boyfriend, Donald Trump Jr., has tested positive for the virus.
