Barr doesn't expect Justice probe into Russian collusion will lead to criminal probe of Obama, Biden
Critics of the Russia probe suggest that President Obama was directly involved
Attorney General William Barr said Monday that he doesn't anticipate that a Justice Department investigation in the federal Russian collusion probe will lead to a criminal probe into former President Obama or former Vice President Biden.
The review of the collusion probe is being conducted by John Durham, the Connecticut prosecutor whom Barr appointed last year to review the investigation.
"I don't expect Mr. Durham's work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man," Barr said.
The recent release of declassified documents related to the FBI investigation suggest that Obama and Biden were closely involved, which has resulted in President Trump and others calling for them to be investigated.
