The State Department has apparently altered its plan to buy $400 million worth of "Armored Tesla” vehicles, followed concern raised late Wednesday about the a potential conflict of interest, considering the CEO of the electric vehicle company is Elon Musk, is now part of the Trump administration.

The planned purchase was part of a 2025 procurement forecast, a document outlining projections of anticipated contracts, which was published in December, according to Time magazine.

The document has since been update, with the Tesla line item having been changed to “Armored Electric Vehicles,” several news outlets reported Thursday morning.

The State Department did respond to a request for comment by The New York Times, among the news outlets to have first reported on the apparent change.
