Officials have obtained video footage of a plane crash in Upstate New York that killed a family of six over the weekend.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the plane, a turboprop Mitsubishi MU-2B, crashed in the town of Copake around 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
"We have obtained a video of the actual crash in the final seconds," an NTSB board member said, according to an ABC News affiliate. "The video appears to show that the aircraft was intact and crashed at a high rate of descent."
The pilot flying the plane reported a missed approach and "requested vectors for another approach," according to the National Transportation Safety Board.
As of Monday, crews are still looking over the wreckage of the crash, according to the news outlet Lohud.
The NTSB said the team would be on-site for one week. A full report could take 12 to 24 months to come out.
