Police have reportedly arrested a suspect in connection to an apparent act of arson at Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's residence in Harrisburg on Sunday.
Fire crews eventually put out the flames but the fire left a great deal of damage.
Shapiro and his family were present inside the home during the fire but were not harmed.
Shaprio released a statement about the situation on X.
The Pennsylvania State Police said the incident was an act of arson that is under investigation.
Police have identified Cody Balmer, 38, of Harrisburg, as the suspect. Formal charges have not been announced.
