President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday announced his selections for top posts at the Department of Justice to aid Attorney General-designate Matt Gaetz.
To serve as deputy attorney general, Trump tapped Todd Blanche, whom he called "excellent attorney who will be a crucial leader in the Justice Department, fixing what has been a broken System of Justice for far too long."

He further named Emil Bove to serve as acting deputy attorney general during the confirmation process and to serve as principal associate deputy attorney general in a permanent capacity.
"Emil prosecuted terrorists and international drug traffickers as a Chief of the National Security Unit in the Southern District of New York United States Attorney’s Office, clerked for two Federal Judges, and graduated with Honors from Georgetown University Law Center," Trump noted. "Emil is going to make us proud as we, Make America Great Again."
The pair will presumably work under former Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., whom Trump named as his AG pick this week.
