President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday night informally announced his next cabinet appointment, stating that he would formally nominate North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum as Secretary of the Interior on Friday.

Trump has been announcing his cabinet positions this week, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Health and Human Services Secretary, former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz as Attorney General, and Florida GOP Sen. Marco Rubio as Secretary of State.

"He's going to be announced tomorrow…I look forward to doing the formal announcement, although this is a pretty big announcement right now, actually," Trump said during a speech at Mar-a-Lago, per Fox News. "He's going to head the Department of Interior and he's going to be fantastic."

"We're going to reduce regulation waste, fraud and inefficiency," Trump continued. "We're going to clean out the corrupt, broken and failing bureaucracies. And we're going to stop child sexual mutilation. We're going to stop it because it's time."
