Parts of Georgia grand jury report on 2020 election to be released this week
One of the sections set to be released "discusses its concern that some witnesses may have lied under oath during their testimony to the grand jury," McBurney wrote.
Parts of the Georgia special grand jury report on efforts by former President Trump and his allies to alter the results of the 2020 election will be released this week, according to a judge's ruling Monday.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney said three sections of the county grand jury report will be released Thursday, The Washington Post reported.
One of the sections set to be released "discusses its concern that some witnesses may have lied under oath during their testimony to the grand jury," McBurney wrote.
Most of the report will be sealed as Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis considers criminal charges.
