The House on Tuesday is expected to vote on the fiscal 2025 budget resolution even though there is some holdout from Republicans.

The vote will likely take place in the afternoon.

The resolution includes $5 trillion in new spending including money for Trump border security initiatives, and it extends President Donald Trump's 2017 tax cuts.

As of Tuesday morning, three House Republicans – Reps. Thomas Massie, Kentucky; Tim Burchett, Tennessee; and Victoria Spartz, Indiana, said they are opposed, according to the news outlet Politico.

Republicans can only afford to lose one vote if they want to pass the resolution.
