DNC meeting interrupted by over a dozen climate change activists halting proceedings

A meeting to select the next leader of the Democratic National Convention was interrupted multiple times Thursday by climate change protesters, with some having to be removed.
Over a dozen protesters on Thursday stopped the DNC forum proceedings in the first half hour of the meeting, according to the news outet Politico.
Some of the protesters were affiliated with the Sunrise Movement, a climate change activist group. Six protesters had to be removed as they walked toward the stage after many interruptions.
MSNBC hosts Jen Psaki, Jonathan Capehart and Symone Sanders-Townsend were hosting the debate among the candidates and expressed frustration as the evening went on.
At one point they re-directed the meeting to address questions about climate change, but the protests continued.
One of the contenders for DNC Chairman, Jason Paul, accused the protesters of "hijacking" the evening, adding that it turned into a "scream night."
