Article III Project founder Mike Davis predicts Kash Patel will be confirmed, will be a fight
Over the weekend, President-elect Donald Trump announced that Kash Patel would serve as FBI director in his upcoming administration.
Article III Project founder Mike Davis predicted Monday that Kash Patel would get confirmed as FBI Director, but it would be a fight.
"He's going to get confirmed," Davis said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "We're going to make damn sure that happens at the Article III Project, but it's going to be a fight."
Over the weekend, President-elect Donald Trump announced that Kash Patel would be his nominee for FBI director in the upcoming administration.
Patel, 44, is an attorney with experience in counterterrorism, intelligence and national security. His name surfaced as a finalist for the nomination just days after Trump's Nov. 5 presidential victory.
Davis said that the Article III Project has set up a website to take action and help people call their senators to urge them to confirm Patel.
"This site does patch through phone calls where it calls both of your home state senators and tells them to support Kash Patel," he said. "We can also send emails from you to your home state senators through this site."
