This cut will impact about 6% of the workforce, according to Axios.
The cable news company, which has struggled financially amid falling ratings, according to the Daily Beast, also laid off hundreds of employees in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Some likely new changes for CNN include more streaming and different business goals.
The media company's new weekday lineup programming did not include CNN anchor Jim Acosta, according to Fox News.
Acosta's program was replaced with "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and Pamela Brown."
"We are in active discussions with Jim about a new time slot and will have more information to share soon," a CNN spokesperson said in an interview with Fox News.
