At least two Israeli soldiers have died in combat in northern Israel

The Israeli military announced on Thursday that at least two soldiers have died in combat in northern Israel.

The detail surrounding the cause of the deaths was not available known.

A third soldier was rushed to a hospital after a severe injury.

Israel revealed on Thursday that it had launched overnight strikes on Hezbollah sites inside Lebanon.

According to CNN, Hezbollah launched 17 rocket and drone attacks over its border and into northern Israel on Thursday. 

On Tuesday, exploding pagers killed members of Hezbollah and other people in areas of Lebanon. Nearly 3,000 people were injured. Reports indicated that Israeli was behind the attack but the Israeli military has not officially said that on the record.

Additional communications devices exploded in Lebanon on Wednesday, leading to additional deaths and injuries.
