Hezbollah's secretary general calls Oct. 7 attack on Israel a 'blessed operation'
This is the first time Nasrallah has spoken publicly in person since 2006.
Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah said Friday that Hamas' deadly the Oct. 7 terror attack on Israel was a "blessed operation."
Nasrallah made these remarks in Lebanon and said the attacks were fully planned out and executed by Hamas, the Palestinian militant-terror group, according to CNN.
Hezbollah, the political-militia group and an Iranian proxy, has hinted in past statements that it is ready to join the fight against Israel.
During his remarks in Lebanon, Nasrallah reportedly said that the U.S. sending a "fleets of warships" to the eastern Mediterranean exposes Israel's weakness.
The U.S. has already sent out two carrier strike groups.
This is the first time Nasrallah has spoken publicly in person since 2006 when Israel had a month-long war with Lebanon.
