Condition of hostages freed by Hamas a 'crime against humanity,' says Israeli president

Palestinian terrorist group Hamas released three Israeli hostages on Saturday and their condition sparked alarm among the Israeli government.

President Isaac Herzog said the frail hostages represented a "crime against humanity."

The hostages released are Ohad Ben Ami, Eli Sharabi and Or Levy. They were abducted on October 7, 2024 during the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.

Israel began releasing more Palestinians on Saturday under the first phase of the ceasefire deal.
