Winter weather dumps inches of snow in Upstate New York

Upstate New York is being pounded by a major lake-effect snow system with more than a foot of snow hitting the Buffalo airport overnight. The storm stranded drivers who failed to heed warnings to stay off the roads resulting in approximately 40 people being rescued early Saturday morning.
