Ukraine submits 'accelerated' application for NATO membership

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine submitted an “accelerated” application to join the NATO alliance on September 30th. Zelensky added, "Ukraine is applying to make it de jure. Under a procedure consistent with our significance for the protection of our entire community."
