Tristan Leavitt lays out concerns with the FBI politicizing their workforce

Empower Oversight President Tristan Leavitt addresses the dangers of the FBI not allowing diversity of thought within the bureau. “If they did purge the FBI of a number of conservatives, where does that leave you? It leaves you with a workforce that doesn’t have diversity of thought, that views things in a very different way than a very large segment of the country, and these are the armed law enforcement officials that are coming into a lot of situations,” he says. “To not have them able to relate to about half the country is really problematic and potentially very dangerous in a lot of situations.”
