Russian official claims mass exodus is 'fake news

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov spoke in a video address regarding a mass exodus of Russian citizens from airports and border checkpoints as "fake news." He went on to add about citizens being detained at anti-war rallies and served conscription orders, “[This practice] is not against the law. There is no violation of the law here."
