DOJ to reveal findings of Minneapolis Police investigation Friday
The Justice Department on Friday will reportedly reveal the findings of its two-year probe into the Minneapolis Police Department, according to several media reports. Reports say U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland and other federal officials are expected to hold a press conference in Minneapolis on Friday. Garland launched the probe into MPD in April of 2021, nearly one year after George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.
