China reponds to U.S. balloon shooting
China is protesting against American use of force to take down what it is calling an unmanned civilian aircraft. China released a statement saying the balloon had entered the U.S. by accident. A U.S. fighter jet fired a missile at the balloon as it flew over the Atlantic near the South Carolina coast Saturday.
