Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has taken aim at former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley as she threatens to eclipse him in the Republican primary, issuing a campaign ad highlighting her myriad public about-faces during her career.
"Aside from Hillary Clinton, has there ever been a phonier politician than Tricky Nikki?" the DeSantis War Room posted on X, along with the video.
The ad runs one minute and nineteen seconds and juxtaposes Haley's public policy and political statements next to her announcements of contradictory positions.
Among those are her prior claim that she would not run for president against former President Donald Trump, her opposition to and later support for raising the gas tax, her calls to create a mandatory digital I.D., her past statements on China, her position on defunding the United Nations, and her stance on gender transitions for minors.
