Gun control activist David Hogg elected vice chair of Democratic National Committee

Gun control activist David Hogg has been elected as one of three vice chairs of the Democratic National Committee, according to the DNC's announcement.

Hogg, a survivor of the Parkland high school mass shooting, won after four rounds of voting on Saturday.

Hogg, 24, reportedly received 214.5 votes.

Pennsylvania State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta and Artie Blanco, a DNC member representing Nevada, are the other vice chairs.
