Pfizer/BioNTech says clinical trials show COVID vaccine 100% effective, safe for youths 12 to 15

Pfizer/BioNTech said Wednesday that clinical trials show its Covid-19 vaccine is 100% effective and safe for youths 12 to 15.

The pharmaceutical company plans to submit the results to the Food and Drug Administration as soon as possible for emergency use authorization. 

The two-dose vaccine has proven over 95% in adults, and its approval for youth would be the next big step in gettin 100% of the population vaccinated for the virus.
